Rogue bass and trout
Oregon Fishing
Fishing Touvelle and Dodge Bridge off the bank and wondering what the bass and trout might be biting out there. Any suggestions? So far I've tried rooster tails, craw-jigs, and night crawlers to no avail. Put some spam chunks on and tried for catfish. The meat was on the hook solid, but something got it and left the hook bare. Anyone having any luck?
If you catch, or even see, any kind of BASS at those two locations....please kill it and notify ODFW. We have had far too many lakes and rivers spoiled because of ignoramus people introducing smallmouth, largemouth, striper and walleye to Oregon waters. They eat salmon and steelhead smolts, decimate the rainbow and cutthroat stock, and generally change the waterbody's whole ecosystem.
You wanna be a "basshole" ? Go elsewhere, like Cali or south of the Mason-Dixon line and stay out of Oregon, please.....we be salmonid folk.
Just WOW. That was a totally rude and uncalled for response to a simple question from someone unfamiliar with the area!

Apparently that j****** don't know much about his own river there used to be lots of bass down and Kelly slew before they took gold ray d*** out big large mouth
Never been shy about expressing my opinion when it comes to preserving Oregon's waters.
I would apologize, but that would diminish my feelings about invasive bass and other species, and be disingenuous.....not something that I will knowingly do. So be it.

The man asked a simple question so that he might catch a fish. He didn't introduce a anything in to the river. You are the bass hole bass hole. So you should probably go ahead and leave for the Mason Dixon line.

Feel free to swing through Cali on your way

Just wondering. Who made u king?
I have absolutely no problem with preserving my home (Oregon) waters either. I don't know about any of that other stuff you were talking about. Those spots were recommended to me.
