We were on North Fork reservoir. The fish weren't biting like last week, we had a hard time finding a keeper. The steelhead smolt were aggressive. Eventually a cloud cover came over and then there was a period when they were biting pretty well. We had a time when we had two on but got tangled up and lost both.

Bless your heart, keep that boy outdoors and he will thrive despite a rough start. Keep us posted with photos of his new rod & reel.
