I finally registered so I thought I would take the time to say hello and also thank all of you for your time and posts!
I have always been an outdoorsy kinda girl and have always loved fishing. Grew up fishing all of oregon. Normally just lake fishing because fishing for salmon, steelhead, and ocean fishing was something I enjoyed doing with my dad only for the most part! We would fish anywhere we went!!
2 years ago he passed away and now gets to sit at the fishing whole catching the big ones all day long (that's where we go when we pass according to him) ever since I have taken up going by myself.
It's different but I have had all of you and you're posts and suggestions to help me along my journey and I appreciate it!!

Sorry to hear about your dad.
He'll always have his hand on your shoulder.

Great message,thank you very much. There's a woman in the Eureka area of northern California that could maybe be a fishing buddy if you are not too far away. Her name is Gina and don't remember her ap name but she seems just about like you.
