I put a piece of indoor outdoor carpet over sealed plywood cut to fit on top of my kayak where the seat is then hooked stadium chair to it.This also gave me a small storage area now under my seat perfect for a Plano box.. its still as stable as it was even though my center of gravity is noww a bit higher..

I went to a 12 from a 10 and yes it weighs LITTLE more but it makes up for it in tracking and stability. Plus extra room

Can anyone tell me why the paint on some of my lures is getting gooey. The paint if you wipe it will come off.. They feel damp even though I open my Plano boxes after every fishing trip and allow them to air dry. Is there anyway to fix the issue? I'd appreciate any advice on the issue?

The rounder the bottom of the kayak is the easier it is to flip. Any of them can turn over but some you really have to try in order to turn them over. If you have ever been in a canoe much then you will have no problem in kayak. However when your in a kayak.. The rule is to have all your gear strapped down unless you want to loose your gear. no one plans on flipping over but no one plans on falling down when walking either just things can happen sometimes out of your control and you fall down same thing basically. i have 3 and yes i have turned over and at the worst time the water temp was 33degrees last time i did. it was because i wasnt paying attention when i launched. You will do fine. like learning to ride a bicycle. at first your a lil shakey then things smooth out.

Not sure where you are my friend? I will say here in Ga fishing has been very tough.. Ive had alot of trips out to come back empty handed. Started asking around and found out everyones having the same luck... my personal feeling is this... If you go fishing and still enjoy it even if you get skunked...... Well you still come home the victor...Catching is more fun but so is the challenge... Dont down yourself do like I did ask around your favorite baitshop and fishing hole. cant hurt to ask....Ive learned alot by doing so.. Good Luck My Friend and Tight Lines

Using my anchor right now is a pain because it constantly gets tangled. What's a good way to manage this? I've seen those diver reel things but I'm wondering if there is something similar I could pick up locally?

I use a retractable dog leash thats made for large dogs its 25ft and only bout 6 to 7$ from Harbor Freight . I run it through my anchor trolley system. I used it for A long time before i had an anchor trolley and it works very well with it..
