I've used super glue and it was effective for something like that.
Tight line!
I"m a big lower key guy. Kayak by the "no name bridge" great water with variety of species to catch. good luck.
moth balls work just put a couple in the cowling when you are ready to winterize.
Welcome and get ready for some fishing!! Lower Keys guy myself but Private charter, Marathon Lady, or fishing at any of the bridges (there is a bunch) will work for you. If you only plan to fish one time, I'd go with a charter or head boat. I hope you're staying for awhile there is so much to see there. Visit Bahia Honda State Park also, great snorkel trip to Loo Key Reef. Cold beers & tight lines!!
I have a tandem 13'6" and it does well, carries gear and is stable in the ocean. good luck & make sure your drag is set correctly, I've seen the man in the gray suit flip people over when he decided to go for a stroll!!
I'm in Delaware in Rehoboth Beach and have caught a few last week. Going out again this week, live eels are working the best!! Tight lines & cold beers!
Tackle box must have. Super Glue, it works perfectly to close wounds/cuts until you can get proper care.
Cheers!!
What a cow!! excellent, hoping to hook up tonight in Delaware, at the inlet.
