Go with the Bubba. Lithium. Has an assortment of blades for all conditions and stays charged forever. I’ve used just about all the electrics. I purchased a Bubba 3 years ago and it’s the best I’ve used so far.
Haven’t been up to whisky in over 20 years. The water is usually super clear. Use to use the old Kokanee spinner with a crawler behind and did alright. Didn’t fish there a lot mainly driving past on my way to the trinity for salmon and steel head. Caught a lot of those up there. Good luck buddy. Go get em.
Sacramento perch were off the hook 2 weeks ago on Crowley. White crappie jigs with crappie nibbles in 10-14 feet of water Trolling was ok with Tasmanian devils I used bleeding frog. Could have got easy limits of trout with inflated crawlers. Good luck.

Tube fishing at Leighton springs at the north end in 10’-12’ of water just past the weed line would be perfect. they are spawning in droves right now. 25 fish limit on em.
Perch are red hot this is my grandson with a couple nice ones. 1/32 white crappie jugs and add crappie nibbles out at lieghtin springs in 12-10’ of water.
