Langer Loc: Lake Havasu City, Arizona

What a crazy morning it was breezy at Havasu again as I paddled out to the South Bay of Mesquite Bay. I anchored in 10 ft of water and cast to the same spot where I caught two giant catfish on Thursday and soon got hit by a big one using the same blue / purple Yum plastic worm. So I boated three fish that would have been over 45 lb total and my arms were worn out, using 30 lb braid and 12 lb leader, seemed to work just fine.
I almost brought the last one home and just felt bad about it so cut him loose. I also got a two and a half pound largemouth in between this action and it happened to be a fish that I caught 2-3 weeks ago that had the same red scars on his tail, so that's kind of crazy.

That's really cool Langer. Its really neat when you catch a fish that you know that you've caught before. Makes you feel really nice that you released it the first time and even better when you release it the second time.
Congrats on all the ones you caught today.πŸ‘
