Sorry for the loss of your friend, i had a good friend/fishing buddy who all so passed from Cancer.
I have seen the Braided line for sale on Temu , but because it was so cheap i was skeptical of it. Has anyone else tried it?
I was told the inflatable PDF count as a life preserver, but you have to be wearing it.
I was looking at PFD'S . The self / manual inflating type. The prices, $70. to $300. I just want one that fits good, so I'll keep it on while fishing and not take it off, because it hinders my movements while fishing.
Does anyone have any preferences for them?
Check your states regulations, in Calif. if you put a trolling motor on your kayak, you have to register it.
I wouldn't spend 10 cents at DICK'S
I have a South Bend no.775 and 776 Perfectoreno level wind ,my aunt and uncle gave me i guess in the late 1950's with metal poles. Thats what i learned to fish with. price on the box is $7.50 . I spent a lot of time removing backlashes. LOL
A peddle type kayak my work for you . There are several types out there ,but they are not cheap. Find a used one on Craig's list.
How do you test your line ?
Thanks for the troubleshooting information, sound s good.

That is what i was thinking , guess I'll have to trouble shoot the low oil sensor . Thanks .
Sometimes when i start my 15 horse 4 stroke engine the oil lite will stay on and the engine runs ruff. If i shut it down ,and tilt the motor up ,then put it back down into the water and restart it everything is good. Does anyone have any idea's what the problem my be?
The sit on top ,you are exposed to the water getting on your body and washing back off into the Reservoir/Lake. The sit in captures the water inside your kayak. That is what i was told. It is another
_______ rule. If you had water inside your Kayak ,wouldn't you bale it out. Lake Jennings has that rule.
Reservoirs used for drinking water have a lot of rules.
