Trout haven't been planted in 10 years in the lagoon. Bass are biting pretty good.
I have switched to Lithium Pro batteries. Never lose power and recharge in 20 minutes.
Hi, I'm a bass nut. I fish local tournaments in SoCal. Been using Ultrex for 2 years. Can't come up with a negative. Don't know how I fished for 60 years without spot lock and power steering. Changed the game
Kastking Royal Legend Elite $79.99. Currently using 12 of them. 5 Star. Going on 3 years. No issues. Cast a mile.
Need to add that I use 16 of there rods and reels
In the last 2 years I've switched all my equipment to Kastking. I'm a SoCal tournament bass guy. On the water 3days a week, 52 weeks a year. Have yet to have an issue with my gear. My favorite is the Perigee II rod and the Royal Legend Elite reel. Cost was not an issue for me, performance is the issue. Been doing this over 50 years, nothing better for dollar.
Hi, best investment I've made for the boat. Fish local tournaments and couldn't compete without it. The one issue I have with the company is recomending the battery needed. First tournament I lose power @ noon. Needed to upgrade the batteries. Should have known beforehand.
Hi, it's pretty simple for me. A couple of Hothands hand warmers in each pocket. Cold hands in the pockets, warm hands casting.
Hi, I was looking too. I'm a SoCal bass guy. On the water 3Days a week. Settled on the Bass Pro Shops 7'6" med Crankin' Stick. Love it. They make in a 7' 10". $99.00
Hi, I'm a SoCal bass guy. Fish the local tournaments. Currently 20 Kastking rods and reels on the boat. Switched over a year and half ago. Perigee II 6'7" med light my favorite. Royal Legend Elite reels my choice. Been doing this for over 60 years. In todays market nothing compares for the dollar. Have yet to have an issue and I'm on the water 3 days a week 52 weeks a year.
Hi, 15lb. braid to 30lb. leader makes no sense. I can see it the other way around. But if it is like you say, than reduce the size of the leader to something like 15 or 17lb. I'm a SoCal bass man. On the water 3 days a week. Can't imagine ever using 30lb. for any condition.
Hi, advice from all manufacturers. Never close the bale with the handle. Only by hand if you like using it for more than a season. Watch a tournament on TV, you'll learn.
Spirit the reason I brought that up is because I do the perch scene in SoCal. If you did that same set up on 7'6" spinning outfit, you would gain 20yds and it doesn't have to be heavy gear. I'm 77 and I do it. As for the other gentleman, you can surf fish wherever you have access and on a high tide you'll catch something
hi, looks as though your not a fan of spinning reels
Fredfish, whatever works best for ya. Out here in crystal clear CA water, many more bites 6lb.
