Anyone have any experience with KastKing rods/reels?

I received a KastKing tackle bag and some of their Plano boxes for Christmas and the quality of the bag seems good. I had not heard of KastKing so started poking around their site and found their rods and reels. They seem to be quality, and the price is right in my wheelhouse. I’m looking at the Perigee II rod and the Sharky III reel. Anyone have any experience with these? The reviews seem to either be raving or dismal, looking for any other real world reviews. Will be using it bass, looking at a small Brutus setup for panfish/trout.

Thanks!

Yessir, I have two Kastking reels. A left handed and a right handed. Both are good reels.

I've got a couple of casting reels that I use for light salt water fishing and I've found them to be pretty reliable. Salt water is really hard on equipment and they seem to handle it about as well as any.

I bought 2 Sharkylll liked them enough to order 6 more to give as Christmas gifts a year ago. Every one loves them. Very smooth reel, smooth drag. The difference between the 2000 and 3000 is basically the 3000 has a larger spool. They are close to the same weight. I have Shimanos and the kastking is as smooth or smoother. You wont be disappointed. Keep fishing. DEEJAY

Hi, I'm a SoCal bass guy. Fish the local tournaments. Currently 20 Kastking rods and reels on the boat. Switched over a year and half ago. Perigee II 6'7" med light my favorite. Royal Legend Elite reels my choice. Been doing this for over 60 years. In todays market nothing compares for the dollar. Have yet to have an issue and I'm on the water 3 days a week 52 weeks a year.
