Hey Agrelou,
Pa and Nj do not have reciprocating licenses. If you are bank fishing or wading
you need the license from the the state closest to shore. Boat anglers can get by with one license, just make sure you launch and retrieve from the state you hold the license in.
All that being said, check on-line for access spots. My favorites are all north of New Hope , Pa.
Good luck and tight lines

Try a small ball bearing swivel tied about 6-8 inches above the spoon and tie on the spoon with a loop knot so it swings a bit more freely.

That’s not surprising but at least it’s something.

All the flies I tie for personal use, whether fresh or salt water, are barbless. I pinch down the barbs. I do the same with all my plugs and swimbaits hooks.

Hi J,
I sent a reply the other day but not sure you received it as this is the first time using this part of the forum.
Send me an email with a list of what you may be interested in. I have St. Croix rods, some older Fenwick fiberglass rods, Shimano Curado reels, Shimano spinning reels, Plano tackle boxes contains swimbaits, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs, top water and plastic trailers.
I must say all rods and reels are in first class condition. Some baits have never been used.
Thank you for your patience and inquiry,
Tom

Please PM me with whatever your looking to sell. I’m a gear addict and your close enough to me. Have family in PA and I’m heading there in the spring to meet some stagers. You are invited.

Hi J, I have several Shimano Curado reels in assorted sizes (50, 100, 200 and 300) at least 2 of each. Rods both baitcasting and spinning. I was a lure fanatic so I have all kinds of plugs, spinner bait box full of same in asst sizes. Loads of plastic worms, a Plano box loaded with frog baits. Jigs in asst sizes and colors.
I’m sorry this isn’t more organized or detailed but I just came home from a long weekend on the NJ shore and just found your note. If your looking for something specific let me know. Email me at tzablocki45@icloud.com

Just recently sold my Tracker PT 175 as I
was having some age (77) related issues. Plan on selling all my bass fishing equipment and sticking with fly fishing for trout. Good luck!!

Hi Joe,
My favorite type of fishing is fly fishing for natives on small feeder streams.
If you have an adventurist spirit hop on I81 and head south until you get to Carlisle to fish the Letort and then on to Newville to fish Big Spring. The largest Brook Trout in Pa can be found in this stream. Enjoy!

You didn’t indicate the type of reel, i. e., spinning or revolving spool.

No photo as it was caught before cell phones and was not carrying a camera but I caught a “stargazer” while fly fishing the back side of Holgate on Long Beach Island

If you contact the credit card company that was used to purchase the card and speak with a rep who handles fraud and tell them about your experience they may credit your card for the cost.

Keep your cast short, i.e., 50 feet or less. Try to determine which way the tide is running then make a cast and let your fly swing toward the beach making strips as it swings. Try fishing 2 hours either side of the tide. Try to match the predominate forage fish with you fly.

I am a fly fisherman, both fresh and salt water, for over 50 years and I can honestly
say I am confused about what you said in your post.
The best thing you can do is invest in a quality fly casting instructor or purchase a video or two on fly casting. Joe Humphrey and Lefty Kreh have produced good videos.
