You didn’t indicate the type of reel, i. e., spinning or revolving spool.

https://fishfield.com/Here is a great place for fishing gear. I have purchased a bunch from them.
Daiwa Black Gold if you are looking for a good quality, mid range spinning reel. The older models are bullet proof winches in the $50 - $80 range in excellent condition. 5 star international ratings for years and available on the resale market.

Agreed. Haiban runs a great biz there, Haven't pulled the trigger on some of his spendy offerings (mostly reels) that I want, just yet, but have bought some terminal tackle and jigs sporadically. Always good service and quality products, plus the owner is very knowledgeable, according to what interviews and guest shots on fishing shows I've seen. Haven't actually been in the store and met, face to face yet, but chatted over the phone, like I said, nice guy AND knowledgeable.
Schooled me on some saltwater questions I had, info confirmed by some of my buddies that I asked the same of....rare from a retailer, and much appreciated.

Do they have free shipping with a certain minimum order like Cabela’s?

I like my Penn pursuit. Around $60.00. Extra spools are available to carry different line weight with you. I use my 6000 on both a mh 7' and 12' surf rod.
You can't go wrong with a penn real. They are easy to service and are bullet proof.

Thanks will look into the penn
There are some good deals on Ebay. There are some 750ss and 7500ss. That's the size you need for Surf fishing. The higher the number the larger the reel. If you buy a penn reel I will service it for you free. You can't beat that. My address is 1788 Cleveland Rd Lot14 Smithfield NC 27577.
