I use soft plastic that float because I like to see the strike. Most people use live bait but I do not. Where I have the most luck is the mouth of a creek that runs into the river. If the water is deep enough, 2 to 3 feet they will come into the creek. Just toss a soft plastic and jig it slowly and get ready.

Because of the era I grew up in every player on the team had a nick name. When you used it , it sent a clear message that first he allowed you to call him that name, even though it may not be flattering, and second it was clear that you really knew the guy. So maybe, fisherman use these abbreviated names to demonstrate that he/she are familiar-buddies with that fish.

just got back from Bonita Springs. Caught a ton of permit, snook and sharks. If you want to catch permit it truly is the Permit Capital. Also saw a 12 foot hammer head north of 500 lbs.

I have caught just about every fresh and salt water fish that I wanted. My bucket list now includes new places to fish. Christmas Island and Costa Rica are a just a couple places I would like to go.
