anybody else got a fishing bucket list
Marcel Jones: what exactly do you mean, "Bucket List"? By that do you mean the type of fish, or the location that you want to go fishing?
I had a sort of list, in that I always wanted to catch a large tarpon and a peacock bass. Both of which took me to Brazil for the Peacock Bass, and to Costa Rica and Puerto Rico for the Tarpon. I caught a 179 lb Striped Marlin off the coast of Mexico. Just Sayin...RJS

Did you ever grt your peacock bass and tarpon?
Yes different species of fish i got a big list my buddies only want to bass fish i want to experience catching different kinds of fish
RJS, a "bucket list" is a list of stuff you want to do before you "kick the bucket". So it would be a list of fish you've never caught but that you would like to before you sign off. You've never seen the movie with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman? Do yourself a favor. A couple of true craftsmen at work.
Only one fish on my list. A taimen. If you don't know what that is, google it.
Yeah I've seen the movie and yes its a list of fish I would like to catch before I go Sturgeon is top of my list and Taimen is o. The list to I have around 60 on my list so far including Wels catfish

Hi Marcel. Never had a bucket list. Caught alot of fish i knew and alot i didn't. I fished some water around Camp Lejeune. Caught fish i never saw before n haven't seen since. Went to outer banks when i was younger. 1 to three times a yr. Hook a bunch there i didn't know. Now days if i made a list it would be more about the trip then fish. It would be make good friends get to your destination n home safely. Go get em brother 👍👍

Yes, The peacock was 19 lbs, and the Tarpon was not weighed by was around 60 lbs. Both were were worth the expense and effort.
I also always wanted to catch a snook. Tried several times on trips, but no luck. Finally, was fishing with my son. we were using a sibiki rig to catch bait just outside an inlet in Florida. Something hit and broke off his sibiki rig. He tied on another and told me to get a rod and reel, hook on a live bait and see if I could catch whatever had hid him. I did an caught a snook and landed it. Weighted around 10 lbs, and fulfilled my list. Just Sayin...RJS
I always wanted to go to Costa Rica and catch a big Atlantic Blue Marlin. Also Black Marlin fishing at Cabo.
Yes, mine was on a company sponsored trip. All I had to pay for was the guide. Just Sayin...RJS

Mine is more of a bucket list of lakes I'd like to fish, checked off a few so far but still gotta get up to lake St. Clair and catch some of the big Smallmouth that live there. Don't really know the area so it's hard to make the drive

Congrats on the Peacock and Tarpon. I caught a smaller tarpon about 42" off of Key West.. Not huge, but definitely worth the fight!
Nice I'd like to check of a few more off my list myself and thanks ! Just added Tarpon to my list
I have caught just about every fresh and salt water fish that I wanted. My bucket list now includes new places to fish. Christmas Island and Costa Rica are a just a couple places I would like to go.
