Happened right in front of me.
Caught a bull frog while reeling in a tiny bluegill.
Caught a big ole snapping turtle on a Berkeley power bait minnow one time.
Line broke before I could get him in

You are friends I have never met
Moms been in OSU hospital for a few weeks with a diabetic complication with her right foot.
Amputation was being talked about. A lot.
Then they decided on a rigorous course of antibiotics .
Preparations were under way to transfer her home to an assisted living arrangement while this treatment was carried out.
This morning I was at pharmacy on my way to a meeting at the office.
Got a call from my sister. Mom had a massive stroke this morning.
I dropped what I was doing. Called the boss , explained the situation and drove to Columbus Oh st the university hospital there .
Man oh man! That was difficult to see.
Talked with her by phone this weekend , she was in good spirits. Gave me an ear full about how bad the hospital food was.
I was busy and didn’t go visit.
Now this. Poor , poor thing.
My niece is a nurse. She was candid. Said this is bad, real bad .
You don’t recover from a stroke like this.
I had a mild stroke a few years back and got lucky.
Please my friends , keep her and our family in your prayers.

It’s a little involved but very strong
Better yet, the FG knot is very thin and very strong.
Also very complicated to tie in my opinion.
I only tie this at home.
Bouncing around on a boat is just too difficult for me.
Yea that’s why I’m considering the travel cover only.
It’s done a good job keeping out rain thru the summer and I’m not seeing the condensation issues in the hatches like I saw on the Lund.
Usually change the oil , but only got about 8 hours on the motor.
Dealer says bring it in after 25 hours so they can do an oil analysis.
