Needing something to do to relax Betts decided to take up fishing. She went to the nearest tackle shop and grabbed a rod and reel combo. As she approached the counter the salesman, wearing a pair of dark sunglasses asked if he could be of help. “I’ve decided to take up fishing as a pastime but I’m afraid I don’t know much about the equipment. Could you please tell me about this rod and reel.” The salesman said,” Ma’am, I’m blind but if you’ll drop the equipment on the counter I’ll tell you all you want to know!” Even though she was a bit skeptical she did as the man asked her and dropped the rod and reel on the counter. “ Well ma’am, that is a 6’ graphite rod with a Zebco 202 reel spooled with 10lb. test line and it costs $20. It should be fine for you since you are just starting out.” “Fine” said Betts, “I’ll take it.” As the salesman headed for the register Betts passed some gas. “That will be $25.50” said the salesman. “I thought you told me the rod and reel was only $20.” “Yes ma’am $20 for the rod and reel, $3 for the duck call and $2,50 for the catfish stink bait.” 🤣🤣🤣

I’m saving up a story about Kandy until her mouth has healed up a bit more cuz I don’t want to get her mad at me while she is healing.😬 Anyway I too have noticed the dwindling numbers of ladies here. Perhaps my face is what is scaring them. I’ve thought of letting my beard grow to Fredfish proportions but it’s pretty uncomfortable when I eat or drink anything and what I have has been there so long that if I cut it off I’d prolly scare myself.
