re: the butt
Just for your info. Most turtles breathe through their butts. Bet your heading for google right now. Its true!
Had an out of body underwater experience on that lake years ago. On water skiis I told the driver of the boat ( who I thought was my friend ) to try and shake me. After several tight turns and still on top of the wateer he took me, during a turn, into the huge wake of a big boat. I went airborn, was taken off balance by the tow and hit the water hard. I remember seeing myself from the back spread eagled like I was doing a cartwheel. Thats when I realized for the first time what wide shoulders I had. I then came to the surface and got picked up by the boat. While climbing aboard I was asked if I was alright. I said yes, why? They said I looked like I had seen a ghost. Then I told them the story about my underwater experience. That was my first of three out of body experiences.
Seems i read something about this fish. Comes out of the Amazon river I believe.

Captain Matt put us right on bull redfish on the very first stop. After losing 3 to sharks he said lets move on no sense feeding the sharks and wasting the school. I thought that made a lot of sense. Good guide
Big Horn river holds some huge trout. Try upstream first but the fish will be in the deeper water.
Its been quite slow lately in the Crystal River area. Have tried everything I can think of with only little success. Two fish for three trips and neither of them keepers anyway. Water should cool down in a couple weeks, that won't turn the tide but it should help a lot. PS--its the moon that turns the tide.
Got my PB redfish on a chunk of the ladyfish. Thought the fight would never end.
Best location is the Gulf probably best around Pensacola Florida, time--the 3 days after the full moon, bait--shrimp, rod 7'6" medium heavy, reel-- Daiwa 2500, leader-- 24 inch Ande 20# mono--30# for snook--line-- power-pro #30 braid. Owner 3/0 1/8 oz weighted hook with the springy thing to put the bait on or 1/8 oz chartreuse jighead with a shrimp tip--soft paddletail in white, green or darker with gold flecks. These are just my recommendations as it is the way I fish however infrequently.
I get mine at Aldi's when they have it. 95 cents a can last I bought it. Always look for it in Publix--never see it. Maybe they can't make enough profit on it. My opinion.
Had a boat years ago I named "My Mi-stress"
Skipjack is a tuna and makes a better sashime than albacore ( albacore happens to be the most toxic of the tunas and the most expensive. Skipjack is more expensive than chunk light tuna but when you open a can and see the loin you know you got the better tuna. Put a little wasabi on a fresh raw skipjack morsel--heaven
I always aim their pooper overboard when I dehook them. Bear in mind too that they have hard mouths and the hookset should be strong or you will lose them.

Stormy today. I wonder if the fish know when it is storming.
You can bet they feel the storm M The barometric pressure on the water surface is keenly felt.
Before you start rolling down the road towing your boat check everything. Then go back in reverse and check everything. You might be surprised to find the second time around you spotted something amiss. I have several times forgotten to lift the little wheel thing after putting the trailer on the hitch
Solid boat. Good choice. Good luck.
