Beautiful location you're fishing from Mrowens. Stationed at Hurlburt Field a life time ago and miss that white sand.

Best location is the Gulf probably best around Pensacola Florida, time--the 3 days after the full moon, bait--shrimp, rod 7'6" medium heavy, reel-- Daiwa 2500, leader-- 24 inch Ande 20# mono--30# for snook--line-- power-pro #30 braid. Owner 3/0 1/8 oz weighted hook with the springy thing to put the bait on or 1/8 oz chartreuse jighead with a shrimp tip--soft paddletail in white, green or darker with gold flecks. These are just my recommendations as it is the way I fish however infrequently.
