Does anyone feel like they might miss some fish using braid because braid does not stretch? I am using St Croix medium lite fast action rod. Seems like I did better using 12# Mason mono. In particular referring to top water and crank baits. Sometimes with both of those baits I land a fish and it is barely hooked. Just wondering if when I set the hook, I'm jerking the hooks away from the fish.

You can use a mono or fluorocarbon leader that will give you enough stretch to set the hook. Good luck

Ive found snapper like structure. Try bridges, shore lines with mangrove and anyplace with moving water. I use shrimp, pinfish and cut bait. For sheepshead again under bridges, rocky areas and docks. I use shrimp and fiddler crabs for bait. Good luck

The naval base has lake that is stocked. There are a couple of parks that you can fish from. If you have a Jon boat or canoe you can fish the back waters for snook, redfish, Mangrove snapper and anything else that is in the waters. Good luck.

Absolutely, in my opinion pride can be very destructive. Several great leaders downfall was letting pride effect their decisions. Keep writing.
