Hi, my name is Steven and I really like to fish for snapper & sheepshead. I usually launch across from little jim bait & tackle. What's a good bait and some good areas to fish around there? Thanks Steven

Good morning Steven, can't help much in that area but you should be able to catch some big mangrove snapper with this water temperature like it is fish around docks with deep water and I use cut lady fish, they get the shrimp off your line too easy.
Hope you have a great day 🎣🎣

Ive found snapper like structure. Try bridges, shore lines with mangrove and anyplace with moving water. I use shrimp, pinfish and cut bait. For sheepshead again under bridges, rocky areas and docks. I use shrimp and fiddler crabs for bait. Good luck

Thank you, I appreciate that very much. I guess I'm gonna have to buy and learn how to throw a castnet. Just got a small used boat but it's really hot out there. Steve

You can get a top for a small boat for around $120-175 and it's a must for the summer months here in Florida.
