WOW I am sure it’s a Red Drum. I have seen and caught bigger ones on the outta banks of N.C. Nice catch

Wasn't fishing for anything in particular, but was fishing where drum, flounder, and reds are usually caught. There's construction taking place on the road / waterway, and I've caught innumerable drum there but never keeper size. This floored me. I've seen large red and flounder caught yet never have I witnessed a drum of this size caught. I had the entire construction crew surrounding me as I brought it in, in fact I had no net so a couple of the men reached in after I brought it to the sea wall and lifted it for me. What an experience. I'm sure it was an old drum.... that can now get older!
