What is this , is it eatable, will anything eat it , does it have any uses. How many names does it have. What about the tree it grows on dose it have any uses.

Google "Bois d' arc." Pronounced in English "bodark." The wood from the tree is used for things all ready mentioned. In central Texas where I have seen the fruit, it mostly stays where it falls and the bugs seem to be the only things that eat it. It does not make for good base balls, but they do go right through the glass of the mean old guy at the end of the roads windows. Don't know how I know that fact. It's sort of a foggy memory.

No set pattern today, caught every fish on a different lure.
Fished from 6-10, had a dozen fish but inky four keepers.
Only able to get a few hours in; weekenders skiing, boating and jet skiing.
Searching for better fish; tournament here in two weeks.

I just love jet skies. They look so good on fire and sinking.

It is always the old guys that start the wars, so it should be the old guys that fight them. Could they include Viagra in the first aid kits?

Damn, Smokypig,

What do you want the Viagra for. Do smokeypigs have a thing for camels???

We used to call them 17 year locusts. They're not. Locusts are like grasshoppers kinda.

Spirit,

They are one of the copperhead snake's favorite foods when they do come out. My wife is a snake studier, what ever they call those people. She always warns everyone that if you see cicadas watch out for copperheads.

Hacksaw,

That was my daddy's nick name. He would cut anything.

As for not making it through the death roll, that is the idea. Then you get to tenderize yourself stuck under a rock or a log for a few days.

You think everything is beautiful. That is what makes you so wonderful. Hi to Beth and your mom.

Yeah, even hermit crabs.

Those ain't hermit crabs! When my oldest was a boy and saw his first one he told me that they are
"Herman" crabs. I tried to correct him but he refused to listen. That still goes on to this day.

Boy, you do that again and I will walk over there and break a limb off that tree and then I'm gonna wear that tree out on your butt, boy. My dad.

I've only caught one. My son and I were fishing in the bay and I caught one. I just shook it off.
About a week before I caught it there was a news story on TV that told about a guy that got cut pretty bad. Luckily I was forewarned.

On the TV, yes I watch TV to learn things about all you guys. That's how come I seem so smart. Back to shrimp. On TV they said that the mantis shrimp flicks its body at the speed of a .22 cal. long rifle bullet. Not that much info though. .22 long rifle bullets fire at between about 1200 FPS all the way to over 1700 FPS for some of the really light bullets. I'm bored. What else do you want me to do?

That is NOT what you said. And that's me at the rear, the poor schnook having to carry the comm gear and make sure the rest of you a-holes are doing your jobs and not trippin over picnic baskets.

Spirit.

I went back to try to find that picture of my bellycrawling handsomer than me brother but could not find the slimy little feller. The midshipman fellow.

I looked again at the picture of us coming out of the water on the beach, and if memory serves me correctly, that was NOT our comm gear, it was your lunch and that collapsible little spear fishing rig you always carried.

Sorry for the mix-ups.

These are caught in the San Diego Bay, they are also caught across the country from what I have read.

Okay guys, it is not a fish. It is my more handsome twin brother. I've been wondering where he slithered off to.
