Lost My Crappie Hole

I’ve been waiting and waiting to be able to get on Lake Houston to catch me some Crappie. I’m able now but the lake is polluted with PCB’s and other contaminants. I can still go fishing there but it’s not safe to eat the fish. Bummer! I’m going to check out another good fishing lake but it’s loaded with Alligators. Big Alligators. I don’t know how safe it would be to fish out of my Kayak. Here’s a picture of one. What do y’all think?

They usually will spook pretty easily but they are curious and will go after your top water baits. The big ones like that one you should avoid.

Yeah, being as where you’re from it probably does. They’re protected here and breed like rabbits. This particular lake is loaded with them, but they’ve got some great bass and Crappie fishing.
