Fell off a horse and landed on a rock sticking out of the ground. Broke every rib on one side, crushed my chest in. I couldn’t breathe for 6 weeks.
My off the shelf fish finder can readily see Gators on the bottom at 10 -20 feet, it would seem like any late model fish finder would see the debris field easily.
If it’s really that shallow, maybe a homemade boroscope would see it just fine. Main thing you need is to light it up brightly.
I always liked that lake, drove by it a lot, had a place in Etters, lived in Gburg for years. If I was still around there, would love to boat on that lake

I don’t know how to catch them.
I mean I have caught some 2’ long ones but caught them accidentally. I hooked and pulled in a couple huge monsters that got away. They were like...one maybe 4’, another maybe 6/7 feet long.??
I do not know because I couldn’t land them and the line snapped.
Both at the same place. So I bought some heavy line snd steel leaders and talked with the tackle shop guys and read what I could, then purposefully went back after them.
Haven’t had a bite since. Lol
That’s the most reasonable answer I’ve read about sharpening hooks. Unless that thing has its point broken off, or like the one guy professionally fishing for swordfish , the idea of sharpening a hook seems almost ridiculous. New hooks are cheaper than my time.
I don’t need it and never used it ever and never got sick, grew up on the water and flying alot, I fly all the time and my stomach/ inner ear is toughened up I guess. But here’s what I know from people who depend on it. Take Dramamine the night before with food. Then take another dose when you wake up. Then put your worries away and enjoy the ride!

Zig zag north south through three , you will see the other boats where the birds are snd enjoy trolling for rockfish. It’s been a while I D K the regs anymore. There’s also plenty to catch under the bay bridge. It’s all about the tide. Get a local to show you the rig(s)
If you have a small boat there’s a good ramp in Denton. Big cats under the tuckahoe bridge too

Well.... it seems like the fishing is off. Idk. My neighbor told me that the ph shifted and fishing is going to be off for awhile. Idk
Can’t answer that about fresh water in Cocoa. Theres a salt water fishing area though, might have a good time with using some live shrimp near a bridge at cape Canaveral.
