Finished the sanding today and removed all hatch covers ready for recarpeting. Going to call the paint seller to get advice what and how to paint it. Will be using a roller or brush, not wanting a mess with spraying. Seats arrived, waiting on the steering wheel to be able to pressure up the hydraulics. Other attachments are on the way as well.
Ronnie; I restored two bass boats using Rustoleum Pro. It is designed to be used on heavy equipment that stays outside fulltime! It, however does not contain any mildew/mold inhibitors so you cannot keep it in the water full time. But if you trailer your boat and keep it in the garage, it will work just fine. And at 30+/- bucks a gallon it is far less expensive than marine paint at $32 a quart! The method I used was I applied it with a fine roller and "tipped" it with a wet brush. It lays down very nicely and very few marks are visible. Sand lightly between 3 coats and you have a beautiful product. I am attaching original pix of the latest one, which was done about 7 years ago and still looks great! Before and after. Good luck Brother! I spent a whole winter in my garage but it was worth it. By the way the metalflake green was the original paint that I sanded off the gelcoat with very fine sandpaper and then applied rustoleum spar varnish.
