Broke tip on my St Croix rod (7' light). Called customer service. They advised to cut rod with model & serial # (about 6") & mail it for replacement. Excellent customer service A+++. Loved the fast action & sensitively of the rod. Thanks St Croix for your customer service.

Back about 30 years ago my BIL did similar, walked in the door with the broken rod, went up to the counter and the attendant glanced at it, looked at the model # and grabbed the replacement and handed it to him. No questions asked and he was out the door in about 3 minutes.

I have many St. Croix rods, and by my own fault have had to have two broken ones replaced. Both times, working with St. Croix was excellent and was able to get replacements for both under their warranty program.

They have great customer service and a great warranty program.

St. Croix is a GREAT AMERICAN COMPANY!

I concur with everyone. St. Croix is great! I broke the tip on my 2 pc.. Called SC and received good advice. Fellow told me they would replace it. One option was to mail it to them and the other was to order a new top half. It turned out to be cheaper to buy the new half in lieu of the shipping expenses for returns. About twenty five bucks and I was back in business. Love my SC rod!

It gets emotional breaking a favorite rod . Then you have the opportunity to work with the best customer service in the market.
St croix is great to work with.
G Loomis is also pretty painless to work with. Last broken Loomis rod cost me $50 for complete replacement . Heck of a lot better than $500!!!
