Fishing Lake Lanier for bass in November, any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dennis
Usual baits for these lakes are swimbaits like flukes, crankbaits and drop-shot or shakyhead plastic worm, in a green pumpkin color fished slow along the banks. Try some dark jigs or chatterbait on bottom. Also topwater early or just before dark. Lanier can be as fickle as Lake Allatoona where I frequently fish. Trick is finding them! Good luck and tight lines.
Thanks For your advice, we'll let you how it works.

in my experience it depends on the water temp in Nov. If it's mild the points or humps in 10 to 20 with top water could be good. I hate beating the bank, but Lanier has a lot of docks that provide nice cover in the spring and fall. If it's cold, spooning on the top of the trees in water from 20 to 40 or even 50ft can be good. watch for schooling fish always on Lanier when the water is cool. If you see diving Loons, head that way and pull a spook through the boil.
Thanks TXF, I appreciate your input
