The Chetek chain is about as good for sunnies, crappies and pike as any. there are many resorts, taverns and restaurants around the chain.
Mike Huckabee said on his blog; "A dog's love is the closest thing to God's unconditional love we'll ever find on earth!" Amen!
As I've mentioned on this stage before, I own several dozen filet knives(can't help it). Some were over a hundred bucks. It's kind of a fun but useless hobby, because I know if you can properly sharpen your knives, the Rapala can't be beat! Comfortable in the hand, perfect flexibility and reasonably priced.
I don't understand the "invasive species" label for crayfish. They are mostly native to our lakes and rivers,to my knowledge. There was one foreign species a few years ago-the rusty crayfish. They would clean all the weeds from the body of water. This made a pristine playground for boaters, skiers, jet skis, etc. the problem was this ruined the fishery due to loss of habitat. Trappers seemed to pretty much clean them out (they were delicious). fish returned very quickly.

Over here you know them as crawfish, in Australia they are named freshwater crayfish, I've seen them up in the north of Victoria around 2 to 3 lb. The ones we caught would be around 3 to 6 inches long and over there the popular name for those is yabbies. I think that could be an aboriginal name for them. When we had a good lot of them we would boil up the old wash copper and cook them in there.
It would seem the names are quite regional. When visiting relatives in New South Wales they took me fishing for "craybobs"! Mutton on a string lowered to a rock shelf in gin-clear water. Craybob comes out, grabs mutton and slowly gets hoisted to the surface.Right at the surface, give a stout yank and the little scutter flies thru the air, landing on the bank behind us. Great fun!!
Sensitivity seems to be directly related to weight and balance. If there is a good balance between rod and reel, the combo will be sensitive.
Oh boy! A Chevy! That's the best part of the unit.

Yeah, my wife and I worked for it all, too. It got so I really enjoyed the hard, sometimes brutal physical labor of the construction business. Two great kids, two greater grand kids, and completely debt free. It would seem many of today's generation make payments on everything, having no concept of a debt free goal. Too bad! I recently told Mrs. JPS I have absolutely no bucket list,as all my dreams have all ready come true!
Looks like a decent truck, but still too bad you couldn't get a Chevy!
