Excellent talent and good way to transform eye sores into pleasant urban art.
Of course, permission should be obtained prior to creating.

The guys were all at a deer camp and no one wanted to room with Bob. He snored so badly they decided it wasn't fair to make one of them stay with him the whole time so they voted to take turns.

The first guy slept with Bob and comes to breakfast the next morning with his hair a mess and his eyes all bloodshot.

They said, "Man, what happened to you?"

He said, "Bob snored so loudly, I just sat up and watched him all night."

The next night it was a different guy's turn. In the morning, same thing, hair all standing up, eyes all bloodshot.

They said, "Man, what happened to you? You look awful!"

He said, 'Man, that Bob shakes the roof with his snoring. I watched him all night."

The third night was Fred's turn. Fred was a tanned, older cowboy, a man's man. The next morning, he came to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy tailed. "Good morning!" he said. They couldn't believe it.

They said, "Man, what happened?"

He said, "Well, we got ready for bed. I went and tucked Bob into bed, patted him on the butt, stroked his shoulder and kissed him good night: Bob sat up and watched me all night."

I don’t know what kind of fish.
The chief’s quarters had a place for cooking and a chief took it. Never gave me a piece. lol.
Fish was caught from that ship in Guantánamo Bay in 1967.

Larry,
What months were you in GTMO? I was there during June July 1967, also did some fishing off fantail during R&R from shakedown cruise. A buddy caught a huge hammerhead (no pics) and was promptly released.

One thing I left out was when they took the parachute apart they saved all the thread to sow the wedding gown together

That is a very tedious time-consuming feat and I'm amazed they did that. That's an astronomical feat in itself. I don't think we'll see anything close to that great generation again. God bless them!

Thanks for asking,
OK, I'll be first to post some pics of younger and by-gone days when we thought we were indestructible.
Would be nice to see some of your mugs during those prime years as well. Couldn't find pics after 1967. Must be in the attic somewhere.
Seems like yesterday but time has taken what it wants. Still suffering from whiplash from looking back and realizing how fast we got here.
Cheers!

N2, South Bay and the Old Causeway can be productive. Agree with RJS, PM Brownsville Tony. Just sold his boat but has fished the Laguna for many years.

Hi, padre, where are the staples?

The staples are in my stapler, at office depot or staples stationary.
The stables, however, are approx 2 miles North of beach access #6.

Recently retired and we have a condo on SPI. I’m interested in learning about shoreline fishing, bay fishing and jetty fishing for Reds, flounder, whitening, trout, and perhaps Tarpon.
Any and all information will be helpful from tackle to when, where, and how.

Hi vermeer, I live in Brownsville and surf fish SPI. There are a few locals, that are also members of FS, that I hook up with from time to time. Matter of fact, thinking of going this Wed, 11/2. I can let you know if I can make it and if you're interested we can meet up. Usually I/we fish just north of the stables.
