All my photos are on slides Betts, and my dad only had one he showed me. It was a bombed out church in Manila where he went to church on Easter Sunday.

Only things I saved was my DD214 and my shot record. My wife is a retired RN and she gets a big thrill looking through it and all the shots the AF gave us

Betts, I didn’t serve but my father did. Lewis was in the airforce during WWII. He was stationed in Germany where he met and married my mother (Ingred)who was from Berlin. My Oma and her friends used a cargo parachute made out of Nylon to make her dress.

Oma. My mom is Oma to my kids. Opa passed in 2003.

My grandkids called me grandpa but have recently changed it to grampy. What's up with that? I'm ok with whatever, I've been called worse.

My stepson’s in-laws are “Oma and Opa”to the grandkids. They’re also our neighbors… 🐟on
