Henry's lake Idaho. In the southeast corner. Excellent trout fishing. Not too far to go. Do some research on campsites, boat ramps etc

Dig in the sand for sandfleas. When the wave recedes look for a small hole in the sand emitting bubbles. dig there quickly as the little buggers can dig rapidly. Hook them once through the bottom and out the top

Betts, DO NOT, throw away any of your plastic worms, Senkos or whatever they are. As you can
melt them down in a Pyrex measuring cup in the microwave. Watch the mixture as it melts at 350ยบ

You can make your own mold using plaster of paris, copying a plastic that you use most.

To save having to buy another folder you could mark each folder zip with an indelible marker. Brand name, style, color etc then you could take them out of the original package and place them in the folder. Just make sure when you run out of something you put the same something in the same folder so the scents don't mix. Making sure of course that the ziplocks are closed properly so they won't lose scent or dry out.

I think we might have the same type softbait storage. Mine is a zippered folder with heavy duty ziplocs attached to the inside. I leave my baits in their original packages and put the whole thing in the folder. There are different odors that you might not want to mix as when you run out of one and replace it with another in the same folder. Also don't mix brands in the same folder you will have a mess on your hands when the melt and attach to each other. Hope this helps ya. Tight lines.

You must understand that the Gheenoe overturned sending two of us into the water. I got a rough estimation of the location of the mishap and once tried to locate the gear with good Garmin and Hummingbird finders--to no avail. Now have two #14 weighted treble hooks I'm going to try once the wind lets up here in Ocala

Familiar with the off the back of the boat routine. I had a brand new that day Lew's 400 on a month old 13's rod. They repose on the lake bottom in 8 feet of water

Use really big plugs and work them fast unless the water is hot--then slow down.

Go to saltstrong.com The best info comes at the $ 199/ year price tag. But you get 20% off rods, reels tackle and more. Plus you get a ton of satellite imagery with where they went etc and on the water video footage. I had second thoughts about the money but went for it anyway and glad I did. I'm in Ocala and can't get to the gulf very often due to gas prices etc. You being from Clearwater have great access to Tampa Bay and I'm sure you will find the info provided to be very useful. Tight lines. Bobber in Ocala
