I hope someone chimes in.
I’ll be there in seven weeks. May still be iced over this early. Hope there’s no winter kill this year.
I do love Sunrise.
That’s awesome. Years ago we ice fished Upper Mary for pike in the winter with home made tip-ups. We always fished Ashurst for trout but not the lower lakes. Lower Lake Mary was always so weed infested we never bothered to try.
You’re right about the snails.
Haven’t tried to tie a snail fly yet. 🤔
Living in Texas now. Miss AZ terribly. Headed to Greer this June for some fly fishing with my brother and son in law. It has always been awesome for trout in the past. Can’t wait.
Years ago Lower Lake Mary just had pike and perch. What do they stock there now?
Too Shiny!
Needs a good sliming!
😀
Catch some bluegills on worms in close and use them for the bass.
I’ll guess Highway Bridge also.

We always called them Rock Bass.
I’ll guess 2.25 pounds.
Maybe Georgia
🤔
Very nice !
I’ve traveled great distances in pursuit of smaller bluegills than those.
Lighting is not so good, but maybe a mangrove snapper?
I have been using the Crazy Alberto also. This looks easier and just as clean. Thanks!
Thanks for the advice.
Will do!
Awesome!
I’ve been grilling them on the half shell lately with a sprinkle of Tony Chacherie’s, a coating of Hidden Vally Ranch and a topping of Crushed Fried Onions.
Very tasty.
Haven’t tried deep frying them yet. I’m afraid it might toughen them up. Please tell me I’m
wrong. 🤔
