Now that spring is just around the corner, getting gear together, and hoping that braid to mono knot holds up.

You might want to check out this easy to tie knot.

Yea Butch I posted it last year. Got some newbies here now just might help them.

And for us old timers, just a refresher.

You are welcome Cam. I tried it last year and wont go back to the Uni Knot. A whole lot easier to tie and just as strong.

I know what you mean Cam. Been awhile since I've been on the water and had to look it up. Ready to go now though, just bring on spring.

Looks like a knot to try. Nice and slim to run through rod eyes.. maybe a bit less bulky than the double-uni ....๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธNewbie to this one. Thanks, Bob. I like it. I usually use the Alberto knot but this one looks like itโ€™d be easier for me to do when Iโ€™m out there in the bank. Is there a name for it?

Good one plumb, much easier than an fg knot. Iโ€™ll be giving that one a try.

Thanks Bob. I use a similar knot, the Albright
and I believe this knot is the Reverse Albright.

Thanks for sharing. I have never used braid and I plan on putting braid on a couple of my reels this spring. I need this info.
