I’m not getting into bloviating about one’s opinions, I’m just appreciative of real people who help others out. To take the time and effort of journaling then sharing valuable data to random strangers is honorable. Anyway, I’m still looking for good bank fishing for salmon or someone with a spot on a boat.
Thanks for the report, it’s nice to know some angler’s are good people. I need to find some of the winter salmon. Any news on good bank fishing? I don’t have a boat or a friend with one.
If you go the Multnomah Channel is really good for sturgeon.
Some parts of the island is closed off with sturgeon retention not allowed but catch and release is okay.
After such a good outing on Sunday I had to see what a Tuesday would get me. I just got 4 sturgeon measuring 20”, 28”, 37”, and 58”. I have a nice honey hole here.
Yes it was a fight, however this one was a battle. Took me over 30 minutes to land, no way of weighing him though. Shrimp is the bait to use for now, a guy was using squid and had no luck.
Caugh this 40” guy that my dog Blu didn’t know what to think of him. The Gilbert River boat ramp is a tried and true spot for me. They really love shrimp right now.
I’m fine, just can’t taste a damn thing.
Looks like a great day Jim! Sorry I couldn’t make it.
Welcome Debbie! There are some good bank fishing on Peugeot Island, I’m real new to crabbing.
Yes, I’m already booked!I didn’t know the name though. See you next week.
Hey Jim, I tried to call that number and the lady answering it hung up on me. Is the number right?
