Welcome Debbie to FS. I can't help you either but this site has more than a few users if you have questions. We like pics of your catch too and they're fairly easy to post.

How about Bottom fishing the ocean a few of us are going on the 24th out of depot bay
welcome to the forum
Welcome to the forum, Debbie. What part of Oregon are you fishing ? Lots of choices and waterways in Oregon, gonna have to narrow it down a bit, please, to enable us to help with pertinent advice. If you're on the coast, there's a group getting together on the 24th for a charter, PM JustoldJim. Good luck !
If I wasn't running around south of you all I would go with Justoldjim. He is WAY COOL and all the grandkids he has a re awesome too. I Salmon Fish in Oregon. Spring and Fall. Nehalem Bay and Northfork Nehalem should be getting good soon if not already.
We got 3 very nice dungeons crab last week. One with a derby tag on it. Am going to see if it's still active tomorrow. Thanks for the welcome!

Hi Debbie. I live in Wa. but fish Columbia River regularly from my boat. Early on I went out with a guide and learned some of their techniques and tips. Was well worth it and we got fish. Now I do my own thing on the river. Point being a guided trip may be very beneficial to a newbie wanting to learn the tricks of the trade. Good luck and tight lines!
