I think you need to get a new physician!!!! Anyone that predicts your end of life and is great at it should buy a lotto ticket! They call if medical practice as well. My mothers doctors never said she would make it to 97.

This area of the Sacramento River is known as one of the greatest wild trout fisheries on the planet. You read that right on the planet. This time of year it is not unusual to go out and catch 10 native rainbows up to 20 in with the average being 17 to 20 up to 7 lb s.
I'm asking if anybody has been up there this past week or two and tell me what their experience was. I plan on going with the guided vote, Captain being the amazing Kirk Portacarero. When is the most highly decorated guys in on the West Coast. This guy knows his stuff if anybody interested in going on a trout fishing trip, look up Kirk online and read about him.

I have used Kirk a few times and he puts you on the fish!!!!

Are they steelhead or Kokanee? Kokes like jigs with cured corn trolled under 2 MPH. They school and when we get into them usually 4 rods go off at once.

I've seen lots of pretend a cowboys in California that have never been on a horse or owned cattle. I found it much easier to keep a baseball cap on when chasing cows!!!! Really happy as I down't own any cows anymore.

That is not good on a body especially one over 50 years old!! I'm very happy our place was built to withstand any snowfall and a roof that will only hold about 3 feet before it all slides off.

that's not the way I want to get exercise!!!! Nothing fun about snow removal on a roof. It's bad enough on flat ground with a good snow blower. Be careful as I don't want to hear of a slip off a roof Steve.

[quote=Grizzly 17]FF I've seen the rotation ones on TV.
Nice if you have limited sun time.
Here if it's shining I get it .
We get 277 days of sunshine here a year. You get about 20% more output when it follows the sun.

Steve...Did you get all the snow off your roof? Oup place at Incline across from you gets lots of snow but at least it slides off the roof when it gets too deep and it is built to hold the snow load. We did add support to our deck n the winter for the 3-4 feet of snow it gets.

I have had mine for 16 years and they have paid for themselves many times over. I have ground mounts that rotate to follow the sun and our bill is around $400 tru up per year with two AC and two wells. Maintenance is virtually nil with my 48 panels and I have not seen any reduction is output over the years. I do not have any batteries and am hooked up to PG&E for power when we have little sun. I also have whole house generator for any power outages and have only needed it 3 times in the past several years.

I am thinking that my little trout rods wont do the job. I read that a 7’ medium rod with a size 2500 reel loaded with 10’ braid should do the trick. Does that sound about right? Any recommendations on a rod and reel? I found a small tackle shop in a neighboring town and will travel there first to see what they have. They are on a lake known for its perch so i dont know how much bass gear they will have. Amazon has rods and reels also. Is a glass spinning rod ok?

I've caught lotw of bass on my trout rods. You just need to play them like a trout. Most bass guys want to jerk them in the boat immediately and use stiffer rods and up to 20 pound braid. You can ge a good ugly stick combo from Amazon for $69-$79. That for a 6 1/2 or 7 foot medium. It's hard to beat an ugly stick.
