My worst time waiting to see a doctor in the hospital

I wasn't long home from my first back surgery, I hurt so bad I couldn't sleep, didn't want to eat and sitting on the toilet I passed out from pain in 2009. I woke up in an ambulance flying to the ER and sit in my bed for eight long hours, my wife was at my side in the little cubical room when as I found out a 19 year old man was wheeled from the ambulance by EMTs, he had an automated resuscitator pumping away on his chest, 2 minutes later his 18 year old wife and mother-in-law followed behind him weeping and crying their eyes out. I overheard the young lady saying, we just got married two days ago, I was cooking our supper and he set out on the front porch removing his dirty boots and coveralls from his construction job, sipping a glass of iced tea I brought him. She heard a crashing noise and looked out the screen door, his tea glass was shattered and he was on the ground not breathing. As my wife and I heard her crying in agony, we held hands and prayed. God forgive us of complaining over our problems and help and comfort this young women who's just had her whole world turned upside down.

Someone always has it worser than we do πŸ™

We all will do better if no matter how bad things might be for a person, no matter how bad we are hurting, physically or emotionally, there's always someone who has it worse. Count your blessings, name them one by one.

I have always said, " If you look around and can see OR think of NO one who has it worse than you, go ahead and complain. Otherwise just be thankful for all your blessings. "
Thank You Lord for ALL the blessings you give me every day of my life. Amen.πŸ˜”πŸ™

Steve, I could go on and on about my health problems and pains I live with every day πŸ˜‚ but I know lots of people worse off than I am, a young couple that I knew had a 3 year old little girl and just had twin boys and during the delivery they found out she had bone cancer and only had 6-8 month to live, so think about having a bad day πŸ₯΄ but she went on with her life and started a diary of her livelihood from a little girl to the mother of three children and put it together with pictures and words from her heart for her two little twins to have and read and to know their mother and the best that she can leave them memories with,, she passed away around 9 months later.. Now that's a sad story for me to know them and to see them go through what they went through so when I get up every morning I thank God for all the good things I have to look forward to,, the pains that I live with is nothing to compare πŸ™πŸ™

AMEN Chuck. I too live with a lot more constant pain than I care to admit , but consider myself VERY lucky and fortunate.
There are SO many people SO less fortunate than I am I try my best NEVER to complain.

Any time I start to think about how bad I have it body and health wise. I remember my trips to the VA Hospital and seeing all the other vets there way worse than me and then I think "Thank You God".

AMEN, Mark. There are so many that are so much worse than we are.
Thank You Lord for all the blessings You give us everyday.
We are so lucky.

Steve...Did you get all the snow off your roof? Oup place at Incline across from you gets lots of snow but at least it slides off the roof when it gets too deep and it is built to hold the snow load. We did add support to our deck n the winter for the 3-4 feet of snow it gets.

I did get all the snow removed from the first time.
I just got back up to the lake today.
Gonna be here a week so I can try to keep up with any storms we have.
Just finished clearin the drive and the walk.
Probly get on the house and get it all off tomorrow.
There's suppose to be a few storms over the next week.
