Might want to check your states regulations on shocking fish. It would be cheaper than getting a ticket if it is illegal in your state.
I think you have a very profound statement. I had cut back on putting my 2 cents in due to the great info that was/is being given. I think I also got a little ill about people wanting to know where the spots were where you are catching. Like most if not all of you I learned on the water, watching video and reading reading and reading. Every person need to spend some time researching what and where instead of asking the question of where is your best secret hole to catch fish. Maybe I am miss reading things. If I am sorry if not do your research and learn a tremendous more knowledge. In stead of asking the easy question just go try it and see what happens and not be spoon feed.
I was all excited when I saw dance do a show using them. I even did the routine of take that one bait and use it all day. Never ever got a bite with any of them. Like all of you I don't know what happened to them. I am not a bill dance fan after meeting him at a major tournament in Alabama.
I have used several over the years when they were not so expensive and had great luck with them. Have caught several fish over 5 lbs. on them both spotted bass and large mouth. You still have to be where the fish are for them to work.
Happy Easter. For he is risen.
Happy Easter to you and your family.
Exactly what my elders said and I agree with you 100%.
That would be great. I know some of the lake especially around the state park. Our fishing club would go there in the Fall and also in the Spring. We also fished a lot on Lake Eufaula. I grew up about 45 minutes from Eufaula. Know Eufaula from one end to the other. Got burned out fishing money tournaments because people would cheat. The last draw tournament the guy was caught throwing my fishing back in to the lake. Fish for fun only now with family and friends. Need to buy you a lake map of Guntersville if you don't have one. Thanks for dropping a line.
I took mine off of fakebook for the same reasons. Extreme low ballers and then they get mad with the seller when the seller say no. I understand wanting a deal but flat out ripping off the seller has gotten really bad. If you cannot at least get close to what the seller is asking don't text them with extreme low offers. Just as soon leave it for my kids and grandkids. Sorry about the rant buy just don't understand people these days.
Yes Sir that is what I am referring too. Like you I say use it as much as you can. young man.
I see alot of questions and statements about things that help us fish but I am concerned about people not having the basic services performed on their engines. How many of you remember to change the foot oil every year. This is a must whether you do it yourself or have someone else do it. This is one thing you do not need to skip or wait till next year . You want your motor to perform then have the foot oil changed.
Next is having the water pump/impeller replaced every two years. The impeller is made of rubber and wears out when using it but it dries out when you don't use the engine. This is another thing that must/needs to be done without skipping it. The I will wait till next year can cost you anywhere from a couple of pistons to a full engine replacement. I know people that have done the old I'll do it next year and it cost them several thousand.
The reason I bring this up I just had mine serviced, new foot oil and new impeller/water pump, and the service guy ay something like if people would do what you do on maintenance they would be a much happier boater due to having to pay for expensive repairs where a $200 charge would really save them. As someone else on here always says "just saying". Keeps you from being stuck on the water. Enjoy your boat by having it serviced. Thanks

I'm sorry, I thought that anyone who bass fished would know where Lake Guntersville was. It's in Alabama. It always ranked in the top of the top 100 lakes in the country. Last year they held the Bassmaster Classic.
Checking with who you will be fishing with. I could tell you where I would go but he might have other idea. Fishing the bridges in creeks and the main lake work well. Rattle traps (Blue Chrome) along with several crankbaits for different depths. I have wore them out with numbers and big fish. Thought I had won the tournament but everybody else wore them out also so don't get overly excited (get excited) about what you have caught till weigh-in and see what everyone else had in the bag. Guntersville can turn on and everybody is catching really good fish but she can be a bi__ch also. Just sayin. lol
I have been checking in to make sure you people are giving the correct advice and YEP your doing a fine job. Having to deal with some personal and family problems that you really don't want to hear about. We all have Bears to Cross and every once in a while he will take a bite out of your butt. Keep up the great work and remember I am watching you. lol You people really are doing a great job on advice on all subjects from fishing to repairs to which one you need to read up on before you buy. Really proud of the number of new people joining this mad crowd of bait slingers. Just keep being your selfs and I'll be proud of y'all. Hope to be back soon and I will be checking on y'all. lol
Welcome 1959 where do you live outside of Troy. I went to school there in the 70's so we would ride around when we didn't have anything else to do. I live in Prattville Al just north of Montgomery.
