Ever tried Livingston lures with EBS?

Supposedly, these lures have a chip inside that when the lure hits the water, the lure emits a signal which imitates baitfish sounds. EBS (Electronic Baitfish Sounds) is what they call it. The lures look good, but at $25 a pop are out of my budget. They work great on TV, but what doesn’t? They have been hyped by a guide or two on one of the local fishing shows (John Gillespie’s Waters and Woods) for a few years, just wondering if anyone has tried them?
They also offer a fish call with the same technology which may work like a crappie light? Curious as to those who may have tried these things?

They have those chips on Flashers, also. I have used them when fishing for salmon on Lake Michigan and Superior using flashers and flies, but I am not real sure that they helped or they didn't. Flashers are expensive anyway, so I didn't notice if I paid for the chip or not. I say , if you got it, spend it. Won't be long before the commies come and try to take it from you anyway. Ol' George says they don't make a hearse with a luggage rack.

Haven’t tried that specific lure
Have tried some Livingston deep cranks
Not special. Not bad either. They just don’t blow my hair back.

I have used several over the years when they were not so expensive and had great luck with them. Have caught several fish over 5 lbs. on them both spotted bass and large mouth. You still have to be where the fish are for them to work.

Have a few (muskie size) Haven't noticed an increase in catch rates. They are noisy. Be interested to see how long the sound continues to last.

I’ve seen the chip on lures that cost a lot less than $25. Can’t remember the name but I think I have one or two in my tackle box.
