I had that experience when i tried to sell my glastron. Two different guys wanted it. Told one i had a potential buyer. He said if he doesn't take it call me i want it. First guy showes up in a Subaru Forrester. He started picking boat apart. Didn't want trolling motor or depth finder. I was asking $1500. Told him I'd take $1200 w/o those 2. He offered $1000 and wanted me to tow it to Richmond Va.at my expense. I said see ya. Called 2nd guy left VM n a text. Never heard a word. Still have that boat. Never again will i sell a boat. I had the same experience buying a boat. I called about a nice deep v. Lady said they was selling to get a bigger boat. Told her I'd be there next morning. About 4am i got a text saying they changed their mind.

Found a pair of snowshoes on craigslist and talked to the person . They said they still had them and I told them that I wanted them but it was bout an hour drive for me to get there. He said "No problem". So I get in the car and get there bout an hour later and he says, OH, I sold them. I was pissed. Told him that we talked on the phone and all he said was OH, well I already sold em. "
Didn't apologize or anything. OH well, whatcha gonna do.

Guy apologized said he hadn't noticed that I didn't have a title for the boat most old Jon oats don't have a title anymore

That sucks for sure Saw. I know a guy here called about a boat for him n his son.Same as you set a time drove n hr or so. Got there 15mins early. Jack a## toldhim he sold it 10mins before he got there. Nice people.I sure wanted that boat LOL. I just reworked the one i didn't sell. Saved money n still had a biat i wanted
