It’s pretty simple answer. Yes use lithium ( if you’re really in need of spending a bunch of money ) for trolling motors etc but realize the main reason they are cool to have is recovery time ( charging) other than that they are a little overrated.
Use deep cell for starter. You can add an isolator/regulator to charge your trolling batteries while engine is running. Lithium or lead acid. The danger with lithium is also if take wave over the gunnel or anywhere. I wouldn’t invest in them unless I had an electric main motor.

Add superglue to the base of them. It seems to me it’s the air pockets that would help this occur. After your experiment. Put them in smoker in the shell. They are so goooood. 225F 2 hours. I had some seem a little rubbery and other batch was excellent.

Sounds like a hoot. I just wish I lived closer sometimes. When it’s hot in summer I don’t but when fishing is good I do.
