I’ve always heard that at the exact moment of vernal equinox an egg will stand on end. I’ve never tried it BUT tonight at 11:06 DST eastern is my chance —-the exact moment of spring this year.
I happen to have white and brown so I’ll try both

Add superglue to the base of them. It seems to me it’s the air pockets that would help this occur. After your experiment. Put them in smoker in the shell. They are so goooood. 225F 2 hours. I had some seem a little rubbery and other batch was excellent.

Never heard of that one, Mauwehu. However it reminded me of a bar trick I used to do for free drinks. I would take a raw egg and bet I could get it to stand on end after the other person failed to. I kept a small amount of salt in the palm of me left hand, I would pretend to blow on the large end of the egg and give it a quick lick. Then I would rub the end into the salt and finally stand the egg on the bar. Couldn't believe no one ever figured it out.

Love that!!! If you have a chance do it, take a picture and post it here.
More work but—-In a bar of 50 people or more we would bet that there were two people with the same birthday.
The odds were in our favor and we would win most of the time.
