They no doing any better at inspecting boats before you can launch there ?

Yes, we didn't have the tie because the boat had been at the river. Was fast. Did it in line .

Sorry to hear that Look. Hopefully now that you have water in there, they'll start getting active. It's still better than sitting on the couch.

Went over to moses for some eyes
No luck. Used bottom bouncers and worms. Nice day on the water but no fish. Put in at Blue Swan Park. Lots of boats there for bass tourney. Maybe try potholes next time. Anyone having any luck on walleyes. They are the best eating fish ever. I'm on the west side so quite a trip . I'm from Minnesota, really miss the walleye.

Haven't fished Moses Hole in a long time. Used to duck hunt potholes. How's the crappie fishing at Moses lake these days? Used to night fish from our back yard in Cascade Valley for walleye. Good luck on landing some, and tight lines....

Was headed to DVL for first time this year and found out they had a trout plant yesterday, plus they are getting over 500 visitors a day for the superbloom. Throw in the water is still only 57* and fish are not biting. So decided to go to Lake Perris instead of fighting the crowds. Weather report said sunny and wind 2 mph all morning. Get to the lake about 7:15am and it is blowing 15-20 with whitecaps. Had my buddy with me so we went looking for someplace out of the wind. Finally found a spot on one side of the island. Landed my first fish of the year at 8am, so killed the skunk quickly. Had a couple more bites but didn't get a good hook set. Lake never laid down so decided to leave around 11am. Talked to a few other boats and there were about 5 total fish caught. Fish was 2.8lbs, so not too bad.

Hay there my water hunting brothers and sisters. I'm honored to join the group. We all are aware of the situation. Less fish to catch and more money to try. I hunt striper, and Sturgeon mostly. Just starting fly fishing in the Madison River. I have been the guy fattening up the fish you catch. 300lbs of bait a year. Lol. Still love to fish. Started in the long Island sound. Now in the cal delta.
So hello.

Welcome, lots of great people on here. I'm a stripper hunter, that count? J/K, tight lines!🐟🎣

I know there are a lot of cooks on here so would like advice on why I’m having trouble with bisquick does not make good dumplings does it loose the yeast if left in refrigerator to long or does the cold kill the yeast my dumplings are like row in the middle and never get fluffy I boiled them like the recipe says 20 minutes top off 10 minutes top on but raw in middle and not fluffy

Might be your making them too big. To much time to cook thru...

I'm new to the area and was wondering when the white bass run will start on Grand Lake

Grew up every summer fishing Grand lake, in Grove OK. I'll be looking at properties there next week. If it's this Grand lake your asking about, we always did well in the summer. But I'll ask a few old friends and get back to you. I'm in-between So Cal and OKC every 20 days or so. Tight lines 🐟🎣

I fell for the extensive promotion and tried the Maxscent line of softbaits last year. As far as I can tell it seems no better than other softbaits that I use. Have any of you had experience with these baits and have you found them superior to your current baits?

I use them. And I get bit when my buddy in the boat dosen't. And he gives in and uses mine. But I use fluorocarbon and he doesn't. I think that's a difference as well. Good luck, tight lines 🐟🎣
