Never seen my down spout kick out this much water before, over a half inch in20 minutes!

We get those gully washers down here too Rut. It’ll be sunny and then all the sudden the sky turns black and somebody turns on the fire hose.

The computer was claimed to answer anything correctly.

But the CEO didn't believe it, so he asked "Where's my father right now?". The computer beeped and whirred for a few seconds, and spat out "Your father is fishing in Canada". The CEO joyfully chortled "See, your computer isn't always right, my father died when I was 10 years old!" The computer spat out "Your mothers husband died 25 years ago. Your father just landed an 8 pound trout."

Ouch 😣

If you saw the photos, FD, I'll say
this - should I ever come into REAL money (think lottery), I'd probably
buy that island 'mini-mansion' for
a summer home and fish the
southern states through the
winter ! And my Forum family members could come fishing Winnipesaukee with me (or
any of hundreds of ponds, lakes
or streams nearby) with a little advance notice !

I think a lot of us have that dream. 😀

Is there anyone around the Clanton, Al area doing any good with catching catfish?

Welcome Lynn. So you’ve been a member for three months and this is your first post? You shy or what. Lol. Just yanking your chain. Can’t help you down there but up here we’ve been catching them with crickets and worms 🪱. Sometimes we put both on the same hook. I caught one on a bass lure the other day so you never know what they’re in the mood for. Usually something stinky works really good. Good luck and remember to post pictures of your catches.

Hello! I live in Brunswick right on the Potomac River and my wife and I fish around there regularly! We always seem to have luck with catfish and smallmouth. We ride our bikes up and down the canal to hit our spots and love it!

Welcome onthepotomic. Sounds like the two of you will fit right in here. We love pictures.

Found a couple old photos from there. Those A frames did the trick. I guess we lived in them for nearly a year. Check out the lure we trolled with. It had spinners and beads and a bream hook on the end. First time we ever used one.

That looks like a Ford fender to me.

Question for you all: is there any reason not to keep senkos etc. rigged up when you’re done using them? Does the metal from the hook compromise the bait in any way after a few days? Okay, that’s two questions.

It’s a great question Betts and thanks for asking it because I didn’t know and now I do. 👍

Just a really fun day. Biggest smallmouth hit the 5 lb mark.
Biggest largemouth also rang the bell at 5 lbs… she was very lean and mean, perhaps just a late spawner.
More quality largemouth, all taken on the drop shot using the “General”…
While moving to another spot, this popped up on the screen along a deeper channel…
I knew exactly what that meant. Open up the rod locker and fetched my Whitefish rod tied to a small jig. It was game on and all you wanted to play with. Caught approx 20 fish before getting serious again.
Last photo of 5 lb largemouth released to fight another day (all fish were released).
Oh, and when I got home, discovered some of Montana locals cutting the grass in my back yard too. Tight lines to all

Another great day JB. You’re slaying them.
