Never seen my down spout kick out this much water before, over a half inch in20 minutes!
Was that a "she shed" out back? Rained here last night for five whole minutes....not even a mud puddle. Wish we could switch!
Steve that’s my woodworking shop. 16 x 20 and packed with tools. I’m out of room!
The city pond was completely out of its banks, never seen that happen before.

Dam!!
Wish you guys could send that water to California!!
I know it mess up your fishing 🎣😒. But if we don't get any rain here this winter we are going to be hurting to fish on our lakes with our boats. Send those storms are way well take them!!
Safe fishing when your rivers and lakes settled down.

Even Oregon needs rain. I was told last night at a family function that Wickiup Reservoir was at 13% of it's volume. They are shutting off irrigation from it. It is part of Deshuttes River.

What? You got rain?
Wow, Spirit ! You're still dry ? We've
been getting some on and off for nearly two weeks now, including
some real gully-washers ! Have
had some flooding in certain
areas and some flash floods, one
of which took a young girl's life up around the Cottonwood area ! Also, parts of the I-10 in the west Valley
(near Tolleson) have been shut
down due to excessively deep water on the highway - there are signs up
in certain locations where 'washes' that cross the road have been flooding, saying - 'Turn Around/
Don't Drown" !
We're finally getting some real 'monsoon' weather, and should
easily exceed the 2.5 in. average
for the 10 to 12 week monsoon season ! In 2019, we only got just under .75 inches, and in 2020 only
.48 inches - those two seasons
were referred to as 'NONsoons ' !
.75 inches
We have gotten so much rain my weeds are 3 foot tall in my garden. Most farmers mudded their wheat out of the fields here. My mother in law had 8 inches at her house over the last 2 weeks. I need to mow again and figure water will squish out from under the blades again.

No, we're way below average near as I can tell. It's difficult to get accurate numbers, but near as I can tell we're at about 36% of what we should be getting. Our biggest problem is we haven't been getting the normal amounts of snowfall in the mountains - our rivers and reservoirs depend on that snow melt each spring. We don't have a monsoon season here. We have about a 4 month or so rainy season - Nov to Feb - and then nothing. I'm talking about this part of California, it's different in the north and the south. Hey, it's a big long state.

You are so right we need the snow fall that we have not got in two years
Plan on taking the boat out Friday, but haven't decided we're to go because of the lake levels?

We get those gully washers down here too Rut. It’ll be sunny and then all the sudden the sky turns black and somebody turns on the fire hose.
Our lakes, rivers and creeks have been up and down like a yo-yo. We got an inch and a half of rain and I thought the Arkansas river would be coming up again but it didn’t. Then went to Winfield to go catfishing on the walnut river (50 miles east of Haysville) and it’s up at least 6’ and running so fast ya can’t find a bank that’s safe to fish on and if you do your bait is up against the bank even with 8 ounce sinkers.
