Has anyone been to Healy's resort on God's Lake Canada recently. I was there 30 years ago great Northern, but the natives came in our cabin on night while we were sleeping and stole liquor because there were no door locks and is the Healy family still the owners. I want to go back and look for the 48'' Northern. We caught many in the 44'' range Their prices seem to be on the low side and is that because the lodge is run down or is there other problems. The cabins were old at that time but decent and the food was good and the owners helpful if needed.

I'm heading to Minaki this week for a week and know the river is up 6 1/2 feet and has been for weeks. I'm expecting a crazy current and a lot of different fishing spots from years past. wondering if anyone has been to that area recently and saw a big difference in the fishing tactics.

I'm going to Minaki, Canada next week with group that has been there many times but now the water is still 6ft high with a big current, I imagine. Was wondering if anyone was there recently to describe the conditions and what they were biting on. I'm sure the whole game is different now.

I might take a ride to the Illinois river by Starved Rock to catch one of those nasty fish. What's the best bait for them and are they bottom feeders

Thanks, I saw the thhread but my problem is water getting into the storage areas. I ondrestand some dampness but my center storage compartment will have 2 inches of water in the back. That's a lot of water after the rugs soaked up a lot already

I have a 2017 Skeeter MX1825 and my compartments flood when it rains. Any ideas. I put rubber weather stripping under the top on the center compartment but haven't been in rain. Got a wave yesterday and the right front, in front of the baitwell got enough water to drench 3 sweatshirts. It was a lot of water but not threatening and the center stayed dry. Suggestions !

Hi Gordon, I didn't see thread.

Just spoke to a friend who found a really good cleaner to clean seasonal scum from the side of metal boats. Called Bartenders friend and can be purchased at Menards. Strange name isn't it. We're always looking for a better and easier product

I saw some Sturgeon close to shore spawning and that was really neat to see. I was told there are watchers by the fish all night to discourage poaching them. That's a good idea since the fish are so vulnerable

Just a FYI. Just got back from the Wolf river and the Stripers and Walleye are slow. Different opinions out there Some locals said the Walleye run is over and some differ the same with stripers. My guess is anywhere in the next ten days the fishing will b on fire

That looks like a nice product but it seemed that in the video they spent most of it polishing the door window glass
