Back in the 60's. Sophomore year in college. Had a speech class and brought a shotgun to class for a speech on gun safety. Our professor was quite old and always sat in the back of the room with his chair leaned against the wall. He always stressed the beginning of a speech should get the audiences attention. I started out with always assume a gun is loaded and pulled the trigger. In the gun I had a shell with only the brass and primer, no powder or shot. In a small room it made a lot of BOOM. The professor fell off his chair and everyone jumped. I had a hard time keeping a straight face. Got an A for the speech.
