I just mounted a new terrova on my boat and as you guys know it comes with a heading sensor which I mounted. My question is after I pair the sensor and I calibrate it, so every time I use the trolling motor do I have to turn the sensor on or does it basically go into a sleep mode and it stays paired ? Thanks and tight lines to all.

Yeah Fish, live just a few miles outside of Nazareth.
I been in and around Nazareth a million times, I worked for the railroad for 40 years. As soon as I seen that sign I knew where it was, I’ll have to stop in some time and meet you. Have a great day and stay safe, tight lines.
Bknecht, are you in Nazareth Pa. I’m from Lehighton and I was in that bait shop a few years ago. Tight Lines

Hi everyone!! Just joined the group a few minutes ago.Do have a couple of questions. I have a bass tracker Pro Team 190TX. 1st) how do you get the water marks off the haul?
2nd) what is the easiest way to take the boat of the trailer on land.
How ya doing big bear, when I take my boat off a lake I always wipe it down in the parking lot. As far as cleaner, I use a cleaning product called Awsome, you can purchase it at the dollar store and it works great and it’s very cheap. Good luck and welcome to the forum, you will learn a lot from these guys and gals on this forum. I look at it everyday, tight lines.
Nice, yea a friend of mine was a bartender also, I have a few left. I use them to store my scale, check radio, and whatever in my boat also.
Even when I keep my rods in my pick up rack, I wrap the lures with aluminum foil.

A while back we discussed rod socks . Seems some folks like them and some had never heard of them. Handy way to store the rods and prevents tangled lines.
Recently I’ve been picking up reel covers here and there.
I’ve got a few new (ish) reels and I’m thinking I’d like to keep them protected.
I like the Shimano Neoprene covers for both spinning and casting. They fit pretty good and don’t break the bank. I’m thinking it doesn’t yale a second or 2 to put em on and take em off and could help keep em from clanking together in rod locker.
Other brands seem OK too
Anyone using reel covers?

Crown Royal bags work great for reel covers, also I usually wrap my lure or hook with aluminum foil before I slip on the rod sock. I been doing this for years with any rod I’m fishing with.

I love my Power Pro. I've been using 20#. I have seen on YouTube, white braid disappears under water as good as Fluorocarbon. Will they have white color anytime soon?
I love power pro also, I been using it for years and no problems. Tight lines

Have any of you heard if the Canadian Boarder will open this year. I have Reservations and they will not give a refund just extend it to the next year. I do not like to miss my trips, yet it is difficult to pay to two a year. (If not over the boarder then in Minnesota). Want to get to Lake of the Woods only 13 miles across the boarder. Have thought about putting into the lake in MN. and go to lodge by boat, except my son says that would not be legal.
Who would be there to stop me? Any thoughts?

How you doing? We were supposed to go to Quebec last year and couldn’t cross the border and this year isn’t looking good either, I’m hearing they might keep the border closed till next Spring (2022)
Awesome, you just talked me into purchasing a new terrova trolling motor, your absolutely right, I always say it’s our turn now and we’re in the fourth quarter and hopefully we go into overtime. Your a wise man.
Thanks for the reply, tight lines
Use a 5”June bug senko Texas rigged no weight, you will hammer them.
How are all you great fishermen doing during this pandemic? I am thinking about purchasing a terrova trolling motor for my Sylvan 1800 expedition sport. The reviews I been reading are all good and I would like the spot lock. One concern I have is how it would drain my batteries. Any recommendations? Thanks and tight lines, also stay safe.
I agree, that’s a good one Bobby
