Well its been a little wile since I posted but we have been fishing most weekends and this past weekend we got a couple big ones...My grandson on Saturday landed a 4 1/4 pound one and me on Sunday got my new PB lol of 4 1/2...Great weekend for sure...

Fished all rainy weekend and only came up with a couple sunnies and of course my grandson got the only Bass on Friday afternoon. LOL...

Well we went out Saturday for a few hrs and only reeled in 2 perch..
But it was good to get out again with him...We really have a good time!

We have been fishing for 4 years now and I was confident that there were no big fish in this small 50 acre lake I have as a second home..Always catching 1 lb perch and 1 lb Bass never anything bigger than that. I was stoked when he said “its a big one lol” when I reached down to grab it I could not be leave it as my Pb is almost 3 lbs lol..
But we took lots of pictures and released him...We will be talking about that for a long time!!
And yes we will be going out again today for a few hrs.

FS I got my grandson one of these...He can tie one really quick and I now just let him do the knots..

Anyone try Seaguar Invizx? I used it for the first time and other than the cost it’s got to be the best fluorocarbon out there...I tried a few different one and I have to say its the best...IMO of course

Gary we did ok today well I didn’t get anything but my grandson got 10 bluegill one was almost a pound and a cool looking pumpkin seed so he was a happy camper..

How and what are you using to sharpen your hooks and most important what hooks are you using?? We are using eagle claw hooks and seems like they bend fairly easy...
