There was a lots advice on how to and what to collect but not the term itself.

Thanks in advance for the information.

Hi guys, I am putting Lithium batteries in my boat but some people told me it is not a good idea to have lithium for starting and the graphs. I'm looking for some comments. Thanks

I agree with "theconversation.com", Lithium reacts violently with water as does potassium or sodium. They are all in the same family on the periodic chart.

I'd agree with #4 before I agreed with a guy that is proud of the fact that he can't spell argument.

Hints: He created possibly the very first fishing TV show; He drove an “Old Ford Country Sedan”; His theme song was “Gone Fishin’ Instead of Just a Wishin”. If you haven’t yet figured it out, here is a link with all the answers:

I don't remember him at all. Does anyone remember Gadabout Gaddis, the Flying Fisherman? If not, check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YuWV4PpZ6U&t=87s. He is the one I watched on TV when I was young.

With all of my time in the woods, or on the water I have noticed many things, or behaviors. For example, when you see a flock of Canadian geese migrating, they fly in a large V formation. Typically, one “leg” of the V is longer than the other side. Does anyone know why that is?

How do you know that the geese are really Canadian? Do they carry passports or honk with an accent?

I believe that it was New York scrapping the 8th Ave. elevator trains.

Hello stagers,
Here's a trivia question about our Nation's symbol, The Bald Eagle.
Who in a letter to his daughter, dated January 26th 1784, said that the Bald Eagles was " A bird of bad moral character ".
I've been accused before having bad moral character, but I assure you it wasn't me they were writing about.

I believe that it was Ben Franklin who lobbied to have the turkey as our National symbol.

Hello stagers,
Here is a interesting bit of trivia about a very common house plant. It is a felony to harvest this plant in the wild. There are only about 35,000 remaining in its natural habitat. Poaching of this plant can land you up to 29 months in prison and heavy fines.
Which plant 🪴 is it?
Here's a hint.
You can NOT roll it, smoke it or put it in brownies.

I would guess it's the Deadly Nightshade.

Hello stagers,
I need your recommendations on in depth fishing studies.
Things like temperature confert levels and spawning temperatures.
Dissolved Oxygen Level comfort zones. Sun light tolerance and lighting depth
Basically scientific research and studies.
Target fish species includes all most any fresh water species.
Any recommendations would be appreciated 👏
I do prefer books for easy reference.
Thanks to all.

I don't know of any good books on fishing, but if you want to start by watching some videos on how to fish in salt water I would recommend starting with those made by John Skinner then, if this catches your interest, check out his books.

Hello stagers,
I'm thinking of having a fishing journal to learn from my experiences while fishing .Weather conditions, Temperatures outside, times fished and of course fish caught.
Have any of you done something similar and could give me some advice.
I have a relatively funny name that I wish to call my fishing journal that may be Inappropriate to post here. It's not really all that bad just ornery, and since I unsubcribed too the Attic I wish to keep it out of there.
If you're curious as to its title shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to share it with you ☺️
I don't think the title will offend anyone, just make you laugh

Hello stagers, br I'm thinking of having a fishing... (show quote)

I suggested this on a previous topic. I'm too old and fish too seldom to consider it now but I see the benefits of such an endeavor and hope to teach my grandson the worth of such a log when he starts to fish.

LR was one of my favorites back in his heyday. I bought a transistor radio in 1957 in the 7th grade and a lot of girls wanted to hang with me then that wouldn’t look twice at me. I wasn’t much into girls until the 8th grade. I had a sister 4 years older than me that got me interested in music and girls when her best friend would spend the night, she was a total fox!!!

There was still segregation back then so there were "black radio staions" and "white stations". That is why there were so many cover songs such as Pat Boone covering Fats Domino's Blueberry Hill or the clean cut white Crew Cuts covering the original Sh- Boom by the Chords. Today's young would be surprised by our not-too-distant history.

You are right along with others. He was born in 37 and died in 1980 shot himself. He lived a bad life as a pimp and drug addict. He wrote numerous songs that were done by many artists including the Beatles.

Little Richard (Richard Penniman) was born in 1932 in Macon, Georgia and died in 2020 of bone cancer. After rock and roll he commited himself to the ministry and recorded gospel music. Hardly the "pimp amd drug addict" type although, like many other artists of his day, he did have problems with alcohol and drug addiction but beat these. He was known as "the King and Queen of Rock and Roll". Others referred to him as "the originator, the innovator, the quasar". Pancake make-up and flamboyance aside, he was truly on of the original all-time greats of rock and roll.

Maybe some of you music buffs may remember this song that I did but didn’t remember who first wrote it and sang it. It was later done by a few others. It’s called Bony Maronie. He also did Short Fat Fannie.

I believe that Little Richard did a version of these.
